We are recruiting for Children's Residential Support Workers close to Kendal, Cumbria, on behalf of an inspirational children's provider. This is a permanent job vacancy.
This Residential Childcare Practitioner / Support Worker job vacancy would suit any candidate living close to Kendal just off either the A6, A66, A590, A591 or M6. It may suit candidates living close to Penrith, Grange-over-Sands, Ulverston, Lancaster, Windermere, or other nearby areas.
- £24790 To £29K DOE + £3,120 per annum for sleeps. (£27000 To £33000 including Sleeps)
- Full-time hours, 39-hours per week (various shifts).
- Part-time hours also available.
- 1-sleep in per week for 48-weeks.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will help turn around the lives of children who have suffered abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, or extreme trauma in a therapeutic manner. You will help to create a safe environment for the young people, helping them to grow socially and emotionally, teach them life skills, and be part of fun activities such as trips out.
Criteria
- Minimum 1-year experience of working with Children & Young People - essential.
- Level 3 Children & Young People / Children's Residential Care/Workforce or be willing to work towards.
- Car Driver - essential.
