Extracare Scheme Manager (DMY)

We have a very unique exciting vacancy which would suit an Extra Care Scheme Manager to become the Registered Manager for a luxurious and boutique retirement community in West London. The exact location is confidential but is situated near Paddington Station and Edgware Road Tube Station. The community will accommodate 100 independent retiree's, looking for a fantastic place to live in their older years.  The Service focusses on high-end retirement option with a focus on enhancing residents' health, wellbeing and maintaining their hobbies and interests from day one.

Benefits:

• £55,000 per annum plus a 20% bonus.
• Limited on-call requirements due to the low care needs of residents.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop individualised experiences for each resident.
• Oversee service management, including recruitment, inductions, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with the Wellbeing Manager to implement wellbeing programs, schedule events, and promote community integration.

Criteria:

• Experience in healthcare or social care sectors such as extra care, retirement living, older people's residential or nursing homes, or as a dementia champion.
• Excellent understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection.
• Experience in setting up, creating, and implementing policies and procedures.
• Professional presentation and the ability to act as an ambassador for the company.
• Future Prospects: With plans for additional communities in the coming years, there are opportunities for career growth, potentially leading to more senior roles as new locations open.
